Then stop for a spectacular view at St. George’s Castle.
From here is a short walking visit to the quaint town of Alfama that sprawls down a hillside. This historical district retained much of its’ traditional colour and atmosphere, a true must to find out a bit more about the Portuguese essence.
Afterwards, lets go to the other part of the city to visit the Royal Coach Museum, Jerónimos Monastery & Church, Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries and Restelo, the historical quarter from where the exploiters departed in the 15th Century, the beginning of the Golden Age of Portuguese history.
